Hot, in my opinion. Pixie Geldof can pull of any look, this vintage-inspired outfit included. I mean not everybody can wear denim pencil skirts and get away with it. I’d wear it but without proper styling, I’d look like an office girl who dressed in the dark.

So here’s how Pixie Geldof made her denim pencil skirt work. First, the pencil skirt in question is just the right size and style. It has a thin waist band, no tacky embellishments or pockets and has a slightly ripped style at the hem.
And then she paired it up with a starkly simple black turtleneck sweater. She did away with the bling and just opted for a sparkly pair of black clogs. Since her outfit is very monochrome, she broke it off with her leopard-print crossbody purse. Stroke of genius!
If you echo my thoughts and you think Pixie Geldof’s outfit is TDF, you should go check out these hot denim pencil skirts:
1. Eileen Fisher Stretch Denim Skirt, $128.00

2. Moto Joni Denim Skirt, $48.00, Topshop

3. Pierre Balmain High Waist Pencil Skirt, $350.00

Pair these up with a plain turtleneck blouse and clogs too if you want to copy Pixie’s look but I bet these will also look good with a sleeveless round-necked blouse and pumps.
