Sometimes, I wish I had legs as long as Miranda Kerr’s. When you’re THAT leggy, you can pretty much wear anything and it will look good. Just a few days ago, the supermodel mommy was spotted shopping at Herve Leger (West Hollywood) in a simple but very sophisticated outfit that consisted of a white sleeveless blouse tucked under a black high-waisted tea length pencil skirt. She paired the whole ensemble with grey slingback pumps and she looked extremely good in the whole thing:

See? What did I tell you? Hot, sophisticated, and elegant, all rolled into one. It’s actually a conservative look and yet it looks very sexy and feminine. There’s just something about midi pencil skirts that makes a person wearing it look that way. This is of course, assuming it is worn the RIGHT way with the right FIT.
Tea length skirts in general, make any person look shorter than usual. If you’re petite, you can balance that off with a pair of super high heels. It also helps to wear a high-waisted cut so the lower half of your body will look longer. Last but not least, never, ever, wear shoes with ankle straps that will cut your legs even further. Stick to classic pumps or peep toes. These tips are most beneficial if you’re tiny (like me!).
That said, if you want to channel Miranda’s style here, you can do so by grabbing this fitted Diane Von Furstenberg Panel Marta Skirt from Shopbop:
