Shenae Grimes Wears Polka Dots for 90210

Check out Shenae Grimes looking girly but edgy in these pictures. These were taken while the 90210 hottie was filming scenes for her TV show early this month. Despite the tea length skirt and ankle booties combination, which is a no-no in my books especially for short or petite women, she actually looks good:

It’s because of that cropped sweater and high waisted skirt. While the ankle high booties cut a portion of her legs, this was “balanced out” by shortening the torso and adding length to the lower body by raising the waist. This is actually a good work-around if you’re tiny and you want to sport such a look.

The key to copying Shenae’s look is to make sure you grab the size that will fit your natural waist, or simply get the size that will fit around the area above your navel. Top it with a cropped sweater and finish with some clip toe booties and voila! You’re all set!
