Here’s an interesting skirt I found while browsing through Nordstrom – this new piece from Alexander Wang called the “Streamer” Skirt. It definitely looks like a streamer alright. The short skirt features asymmetric panels that turn into strips of fabric at the hem and fall to one side like thick wide cut fringes:

It definitely has that edgy feel to it. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you will deem it too avante garde bordering on looking gothic. Pair it with lace up boots and you will pretty much nail that “dark” look to a T. In which case, if you don’t want to look that moody (not to mention strange), best to wear it with a clean top and sexy skin revealing strappy heels to give your style a little more polish and keep it looking elegant.
